GOLDEN GLOBES Red Carpet 2013

After another year the trends were seen again on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. Seeing stars pose while wearing the best and worst clothing makes me feel giddy all the time. This is one of the events that I always look for. Why? well, just simple : gowns, dresses, coats, bags, shoes etc. If you are a fashion addict you probably won't let it pass. (same as the Oscars). So this year I saw a lot..lot and lot's of Grecian inspiration dresses, peek-a-boo/cut-out dresses, full lace, strapless necklines, high collared gowns and a lot of red! And I noticed many of the stars left their necklaces at home, opting for bare necklines and other accessories to complete their outfits. For me these were just the people who truly wowed the red carpet.

 Enjoy! Ü

As always expected the ever beautiful and stylish Anne Hathaway rocked a Chanel dress, coat and jewels, custom vegan Aldo shoes, and a Roger Vivier bag.
Amanda Seyfried's cream lace Givenchy gown was so subtle in color and detail, it made the fair-haired actress fade into the background.

Jennifer Lopez, in a body-baring, long-sleeved cream lace Zuhair Murad gown, gave us the fashion moment we'd been waiting for, and one to rival the famously low-cut leafy Versace gown she wore to the Grammys in 2000.

Sienna Miller's floral-embroidered top and skirt by Erdem had Sixties flair. And leave it to fashion-forward Miller to wear jewelry in a cool and different way: two diamond Fleurette Van Clef & Arpels studs in the same ear.

Sleeves made a comeback on the red carpet. Nicole Richie chose a light blue lace, long-sleeve gown by Naeem Khan (and matching blue eyeshadow.)

Emily Blunt, who wore a gold metallic lace chain Michael Kors gown, had the best of the night's big earrings, dazzling ruby danglers by Lorraine Schwartz.

Naomi Watts' long-sleeved, backless cranberry gown by Zac Posen was covered up but sexy.

Jennifer Garner's sequin strapless Vivienne Westwood gown was the night's most irresistible shade of red-carpet red.

Marion Cotillard looked fresh and modern in a Raf Simmons for Dior orange velvet gown with drape front detail and asymmetrical hem.

Julianne Moore epitomized the elegance of covering up, wearing a long-sleeved Tom Ford gown in black silk georgette with a modern-looking slash of white at the waist and down one side.

Olivia Munn was also gorgeous in Armani, wearing a gown with turquoise herringbone beading on the bodice, and a Chopard diamond necklace.

Julianna Margulies' navy-blue beaded short-sleeved backless Emilio Pucci gown gave the illusion that you were seeing more than you were.

Jodie Foster was the very picture of Giorgio Armani's genius, in a navy-blue beaded gown with interesting tile-like pailettes on the straps. The design was perfectly measured, not overdone or underwhelming, which probably explains why Foster has been an Armani devotée since 1990.

It's rare that you see pants on the red carpet. But Amy Poehler had the guts to walk the red carpet in a glamorous black pants suit by Stella McCartney. The jacket's deep front revealed a Chopard diamond lariat necklace, and the cropped pants showed off custom Charlotte Olympia strappy shoes.

So how bout you? Who was your best dressed this year?
