I love how easy slipper shoes are to wear – literally and stylistically. They are made for both men and women to slip on and dress up a pair of plain denim for the ‘casual prep’ look, typically reliant on a blazer. But more often than not they were associated with our grandparents’ generation. They were the epitome Fuddy-duddy footwear.
It was only in the 1990s when Tom Ford, with his power to transform almost any item of clothing into something sexy. And now designers like Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik have now outfitted them with everything from metal studs to fluffy feathers. Making them the latest slaves to the whims of the fashion world.
So now here are some of the inspiration pictures I got. Enjoy! Ü
I'm not a fan of this kind of shoes. They may be comfortable and trendy but I don't like them.
