Who skinny? ME!

Today We will talk about something which is so important to me.
 I'm a real skinny type of person, since I was a child I never gain so much weight, not until I reached adolescence as well as pre-adulthood. Believe it or not I'm underweight. Now I'm on my early 20's and still thin. People thought ‘Oh she must be anorexic’ but I'm so so far from that! I actually EAT A LOT. However, still just little changes on my body. Most of them think that my shrinking figure was a result of a diet / eating disorder / or excessive training, but they just don't know that it was really about me having a very fast metabolism. Yes, that was my problem. It's like I can gain a little but then I can also lose a lot. I feel very upset when I hear people think that I had an eating disorder, especially since I struggle to gain weight. It gets so frustrated at times because I’m like ‘I need to put on weight.’ So now with a help of a trainer, I weight-trains to keep on that lean muscle tissue.

 And then I saw this Article on Yahoo;
it gives some advice which I want to share to all of you. (especially skinny girls like me)

    Chronic weight loss is a severe medical problem that afflicts numerous people, especially the sick and the elderly. However, unintentional weight loss can occur anytime and to anyone. While many people usually want to lose weight and become thin, people who are already thin or a bit underweight and are still losing weight involuntarily face a health problem that must be addressed before it becomes dangerous. In this health and wellness guide to weight gain, we outline several tips if you are one of those who losses weight even though they don't want to.

Tips to Avoid Unintentional Weight Loss and Managing a Healthy Weight:

Tip #1: Be healthy. Most cases regarding unintentional weight loss is caused by certain illnesses and malnutrition. Some of the causes are diseases like cancer, chronic diarrhea or in other words a type diarrhea that lasts a long time, hyperthyroidism and mouth sores which prevents you from eating. Sometimes it can also be caused by living an unhealthy lifestyle like smoking and drug abuse. Live a healthy lifestyle like eating more fruits and taking food supplements and avoid smoking and taking drugs to prevent unintentional weight loss.

Tip #2: Monitor your weight. You have to monitor your weight from time to time. Who knows you might be experiencing an unwanted weight loss. If you see yourself losing some extra pounds, it wouldn't be a problem if you're a little overweight but if you're already underweight and still you're losing some extra pounds then that is really something to think of. If this happens, maybe you would want to monitor your lifestyle or your health.

Tip #3: Take a visit to the good doctor. You may be losing weight because of a certain disease but you don't know that it is the one causing it. It always best to get rid of that illness so you have to go to the doctor for a prescription. Who knows after getting rid of the disease, you'll be in perfect shape again in no time.

Tip #4: Monitor your eating habits. Have you been eating less lately? If you've been eating less lately then it will obviously be the cause of your unintentional loss of weight. I suggest you eat more to regain the lost pounds and then eat a balanced diet meal to maintain health and to maintain your weight after regaining those extra pounds.

 Losing weight has some advantage and disadvantage. While it is very clear that it is an advantage for overweight people and for people who want to be really fit and thin, it can be dangerous for those who are underweight. Take steps now to manage your weight in a healthy manner.
